Margarita & Slush Machine FAQs

Do you provide alcohol with the margarita machine rental?

No. Margarita Dawgz does not provide alcohol. Customers supply their own alcohol and are responsible for following all local and state laws. Our machines work perfectly with tequila, rum, vodka, or non-alcoholic mixes.

What kind of power does a margarita machine need?

Our machines run on a standard 110V household outlet. We recommend a dedicated outlet per machine to ensure proper freezing and avoid tripping breakers.

How long does it take for the drinks to freeze?

From liquid to frozen, most machines take 45–60 minutes, depending on weather, power, and mix temperature. We account for this during setup so drinks are ready before your event starts.

How many drinks does a margarita or slush machine make?

Each bowl typically serves 45–55 drinks, depending on cup size. A double-bowl machine can serve 90–110 frozen drinks, making it ideal for medium to large events.

Is the margarita machine
self-serve?

Yes, most rentals are self-serve, which works great for private parties. Attendants can be added for weddings, corporate events, or larger gatherings if you prefer full service.

What flavors are included with the rental?

Each package includes a set number of flavors based on the machine rented. Popular options include classic margarita, strawberry daiquiri, piña colada, and tropical slush flavors. Flavor selection is made during booking.

Soft Serve Machine FAQs

What is included with a soft serve machine rental?

The rental includes the soft serve machine, setup instructions, and basic operating guidance. Mix, Cones, Spoons ect depend on the rental package chosen

How much power does a soft serve machine require?

Soft serve machines require a standard 110V outlet. A dedicated outlet is strongly recommended to ensure consistent freezing and performance.

Is the soft serve machine
self-serve?

Yes, the machine can be self-serve. For high-volume events or younger guests, we recommend having a dedicated attendant to keep lines moving and avoid mess.

Does the soft serve rental include ice cream mix?

Ice cream mix is included by default with most packages but the customer may choose to use their own. This allows flexibility for dietary needs and brand preferences. We’re happy to recommend compatible soft serve mixes.

How many servings does a soft serve machine make?

Serving capacity depends on the mix used, but most machines can serve 50–75 portions per hour once fully frozen and running consistently.

How long does it take for soft serve to freeze?

Initial freeze time is typically 30–60 minutes. We plan setup timing so the machine is ready before guests begin serving.

Photo Booth FAQs

Is an attendant included with the photo booth?

Yes. Our photo booth rentals include an attendant to manage the booth, assist guests, and ensure smooth operation throughout your event.

How much space does a photo booth need?

Most setups require a 10x10 foot area, depending on the booth type. We’ll confirm space requirements in advance to ensure a proper fit.

How many people can use the photo booth at once?

Our standard booths comfortably fit 1–2 people at a time. This helps ensure clear photos and smooth operation.

How long does setup
take?

Photo booth setup typically takes 30–45 minutes. We arrive early to ensure everything is ready before guests arrive.

How do guests receive their photos or videos?

Guests can receive content via text message, email, or QR code, depending on the booth setup. Digital sharing is included.

Can the photo booth be used outdoors?

Outdoor use is possible with proper cover and power access. Outdoor setups must be protected from direct sunlight, wind, and moisture.

Concession Machine FAQs

What types of concession machines do you offer?

We offer a variety of machines including popcorn, cotton candy, hot dog steamers, nacho cheese dispensers, pretzel warmers, beverage chillers, and more.

What power do concession machines require?

Most machines operate on standard 110V outlets. We recommend reviewing power needs for multiple machines to ensure sufficient capacity.

Do concession rentals include food or supplies?

Food and consumables are not included unless specifically arranged. This gives customers flexibility to source preferred brands and quantities.

Are concession machines
self-serve?

Most concession machines are self-serve, but supervision is recommended, especially for children’s events or high-traffic settings.

Can concession machines be used indoors?

Yes. Most concession machines are suitable for indoor use as long as proper power and ventilation are available.

Can I rent multiple concession machines together?

Absolutely. Many customers bundle concession machines for school events, fundraisers, and large parties.

Snow Cone Machine FAQs

Does the snow cone rental include ice?

Ice is not included. Customers are responsible for providing bagged ice. We’ll provide guidance on how much ice to plan for your event.

Are syrups included with the snow cone machine?

Yes. Snow cone rentals typically include a selection of syrups. Additional flavors may be available upon request.

How many snow cones can the machine make?

Most snow cone machines can produce 50–75 servings per hour, depending on ice supply and serving size.

Is the snow cone machine
messy?

Snow cones are generally clean, but we recommend placing the machine on a table with space for cups and napkins to manage drips.

Can kids operate the snow cone machine?

Adult supervision of the machine is required. While the machines are simple to use, they can be dangerous and should only be operated by adults.

Can snow cone machines be used indoors?

Yes. Indoor use is common and works well for school events, gyms, and community centers.

Delivery, Power & Logistics FAQs

When do you deliver the
equipment?

Delivery typically occurs 1–2 hours before your event start time to allow for setup, testing, and freezing where applicable.

When is equipment picked
up?

Pickup usually takes place the next morning. Same-night pickup or specific timing requests can be arranged for an additional fee.

Do you deliver throughout San Diego County?

Yes. We deliver throughout San Diego County. Delivery fees are mileage-based and calculated based on event location.

What if my event is
outdoors?

Outdoor events are common, but equipment must be placed on flat, stable surfaces and protected from rain, excessive heat, or direct sunlight.

Can equipment be used on grass, dirt, or uneven surfaces?

Equipment must be placed on level ground. Let us know in advance if your event location includes grass, gravel, or uneven terrain so we can plan accordingly.

What happens if there are stairs or difficult access?

Stairs, long distances, or limited access must be disclosed in advance. Additional labor fees may apply depending on the setup conditions.
